January is generally a slow month. People are recovering from Christmas, so there aren’t a lot of events. This makes it a good time to plan and work on new routines. It’s nice to be geting back into the swing of things with some performances.

I recently completed an event at Genoa Baptist Church in Westerville, OH. I really enjoyed my time there.

This was an church-wide banquet. I mostly did the children’s program, although I did perform for the adults for ten to fifteen minutes as well.

I got some feedback from my contact person I worked with.

Thank you so much for the awesome job you did on Sunday night. The kids loved you and so did the adults. I was a little jealous of the kids that they got to see you perform more than we did! I know Pastor Frank was really happy about how the evening went. Thank you for be so willing to drive up here on such sort notice.

I really enjoyed the time I spent with them, and am looking forward to the next opportunity to work with them again.

In addition to being an entertainer, I’m also somewhat of a geek. I used to be a professional geek, working full time as a computer programmer. Now that I’m a full-time performer, I have to find other ways for my “inner geek” to find expression. One way I can do that is by working on the internet.
