Compassion Sponsorship Drive

Early this morning, I had the opportunity to assist with Compassion child sponsorship drive at WAKW, a local Christian radio station. I joined some other volunteers in working the phone back to answer questions and assist people in signing up to sponsor a child.

Compassion is a Christian child development organization that that releases children from spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty and enables them to become responsible, fulfilled Christian adults.

I have sponsored children through Compassion for about 15 years. I had the opportunity to visit their headquarters in Colorado Springs, and I’ve seen their work first hand in five countries. I can state with confidence that Compassion is an accountable, effective ministry.
